We have a new website!
I am very excited to announce that we have a new website!!! Brett Neville at Cape Fear Design did a great job for us. The website is very user friendly and has a link to our online store. New art will be added to the Gallery and Store along with weekly blogs. Topics will focus on new art in the making, exhibits/shows, and other areas of particular interest (like surfing!). I know that blogging has been around awhile. I haven’t posted anything lately, but I think I’ll get back to it and try to use the social media tools now available. When new art comes out I can update you by explaining the inspiration behind it and what it means to me. My intention is not to put you to sleep, but to let you know what’s going on behind the scenes as I create and grow.
And thank you to the many who have “Liked” the Craig Hales Art page on Facebook. Because many of our contacts are friends and family, my personal page was getting the greater part of the traffic and comments that I receive. Your support is much appreciated. That is the way this thing got started. Truly a home startup – painting in my home and sharing on my personal Facebook page. We still are a home based business, with “Craig Hales Art” operating under our corporate name, World Oyster, LLC. There is a story that goes along with that but I will get to that in another post. For now I just wanted to say thanks for switching to my Facebook business page. It helps us keep up with relevant data.
Most important is you, the people who view, like, share, comment, attend events and buy some of my work. It seems to me that action breeds action; that is, the more clicks, “likes”, comments, the better. I would love to hear from you! Please share with me what you would like to see or if you have a need in your home or office for new piece of Craig Hales Art. Click, comment, and “like” as much as you, “like”. It inspires me to continue my work and guides me in new directions.
Look for upcoming sales on original artwork! The home gallery is out of wall space and I feel so honored knowing my art is giving someone else enjoyment. I have been doing commissions for some people and am willing to do more (if I like the content).
Thank you for your time,
Craig Hales
